Antoinia P. Jacotin (88) of Leominster died February 25th in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Jean Baptiste Jacotin.
She was born in Aquin, Haiti daughter of the late Nicholas Poinson and Lamercie Momperousse. Antoinia was a retired registered nurse for the VA Hospital in Texas. She was a member of the Bethanie French 7th Day Adventiste Church in Texas and the Brockton 7th Day Adventiste Church. Antoinia enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, collecting photo albums, cats and was known as a “people person”.
Antoinia is survived by 2 sons, Arnold Dumay of Norfolk and Jean Jacotin of New Jersey, 2 daughters, Anne Marie Biassous of Texas and Marie Flore Jacotin of Florida, 8 grandchildren, Jean Guerdy, Jonah, Zion, Belize, Kingston, Sandy, Nicole and Saillens, 2 great grandchildren, Odin and Shama, a niece Lucette Poinson, many cousins.
Services in the Brockton 7th Day Adventiste Church, 752 Oak Street Brockton Tuesday March 14th at 11 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing in the Church from 10 am prior to services.
