Obituary

Mark Andrew Sinclair, born in Richmond, VA., was son to Paul Sinclair, a disabled vet who fought in both the Korean and Vietnam War, and Margaret (Deveney) Sinclair who taught with the American school system.
Mark traveled the world with his mother and sister, Catherine, living his formative years in Iran and Taiwan. He visited many other countries before settling in Brockton, MA.

Mark graduated from Brockton High School. He played in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed swimming, and bowling, and excelled in basketball.

For over 20 years, Mark worked as an assembler at Shoe City before taking retirement. He loved his big, fluffy animal slippers, spending time in the morning kicking his feet up in a comfy pair while drinking his orange juice at the breakfast table.

Mark loved all animals, from his childhood black lab, Emmett, who would follow him everywhere, to Galahad, a Cocker Spaniel, who never left his side. He could recognize the many array of colorful birds who would visit his bedroom window feeder.

He was an avid clock and watch collector, wearing several watches at a time to admire them daily. He would be known to attempt to abscond with visitors watches as well...

Mark enjoyed his games shows, especially Family Feud, with Steve Harvey. He loved sports, and was a big Pat's fan.

A special loving bond was forged between Mark and his great-nieces, Azzie and Ray, later in life. After succumbing to Alzheimer's, Mark briefly entered into hospice.
February 24th 2023, he passed away, surrounded by his favorite music and loved ones.
Anyone who knew Mark will tell you he was a kind and gentle soul who loved to give hugs. He will be sorely missed by his sister, Catherine Bauer(Sinclair/Reardon)sister in law, Stephanie Priest, loving niece, Monica, and great-nieces, Azzie and Ray Smith.
