Kathleen Mary (Reddy) D’Eri, 69, of Franklin died peacefully at her home with her family with her on February 26 following a brief illness.
Born in Queens, New York, August 11,1953, the daughter of the late Raymond and Rita (Burns) Reddy, Kathy was raised in Hicksville, Long Island and had lived in Franklin for the past 30 years.
She was a graduate of Hicksville High School and also received a B.A. from Bridgewater State College and a M.A. from the University of New England in Maine.
Kathy had taught for many years as an elementary school teacher at the Community Elementary School in North Attleboro before retiring.
She loved to read but her greatest joy was being in the company of her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Brian D’Eri of Franklin, Stephen D’Eri of Mendon, and Linda Lory of Bellingham.
She is also survived by her siblings, Raymond Reddy of New York, Timothy Reddy of New York, Patrick Reddy of New York, Susan Baur of Cumberland, Rhode Island and Laura Reddy of New York.
Kathy is also survived by her grandchildren, Clayton F. Lory IV, Ayla Lory and Walter D’Eri.
She is also survived by her former husband Louis D’Eri of Memphis, Tennessee.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 6 in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
