Ralph J. Lavallee, Jr., 74, of Paxton passed away on Saturday, February 25th. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey M. Lavallee and his wife, Carrie of Newbury; his two daughters, Jessica L. Kenny of Newbury and Gina M. Lavallee of West Brookfield; his brother James M. Lavallee and his wife, Eileen; his sister Arlene L. Fraher and her husband, John of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, Allison, Declan, and Matthew; one nephew and two nieces. One sister, Paula L. Goss, predeceased him.
He was born and raised in Worcester, the son of the late Ralph J. and Dorothy J. (Shea) Lavallee. Ralph was a proud graduate of St. John's High School in Shrewsbury and was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. He was a member of the Local 107 Carpenters Union for more than forty years. He was a construction superintendent in both Boston and Worcester for many years and then worked as a construction inspector for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, retiring in 2020. He liked to do home improvement projects with his children, loved cooking for his family and took great pride in his vegetable garden. His greatest joy was time spent with family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
