Paul O'Sullivan died of cancer on February 27, 2023 surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerome, mother Chrissie, and nephew Brian. He leaves behind his beloved sons Jerome and Cashel, best friend Joyce, brothers Peter (Idalina) and Paddy (Ann), sister Mary (Scott), niece Aoife, and nephews Mark, Daniel, David, Paul, and Kieran.
Paul was born in Cork City, Ireland, in 1948. His childhood was spent getting up to all sorts of hijinx with his twin brother Peter. At age 13 he began an apprenticeship in stained glass and he built and repaired stained glass windows all over Cork. He emigrated to Australia and lived there for seven years before moving back to Ireland and eventually Cape Cod.
Paul was a world traveler and loved soccer, fishing Irish rivers, a good book, and a good walk. He loved talking to people and hearing their stories and telling his own.
Paul was a friend of Bill W. and cherished the friends he met there. Services will be held in late April.
