John S. ‘Jack’ DeCoste a resident of Andover, passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital on Friday, February 17, He was 60 years old.
Jack was born at Chelsea Navel Hospital Massachusetts, on March 13, 1962, he was the beloved son of Roberta E. (Goodfellow) DeCoste of Carver, MA and the late Stanley J. DeCoste of Orange, MA Jack was a dedicated union Meat Cutter for Stop & Shop for 36 years until he retired in 2021. He also served in the U.S. Navy from 1981 to 1985 on the U.S.S. Puget Sound stationed out of Geata Italy , In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and rooting for the Patriots and Bruins. Cracking jokes and making friends where ever he went! He will be deeply missed!!!
Besides his mother, Roberta Jack is survived by his brother and sister-in-law; Bruce A. and his wife Tracey A. DeCoste of Mashpee, MA nephew; Steven S. DeCoste of Mashpee, MA and cousins; Scott Anderson of Barrington N.H. Robin Simard of Manchester, NH Laura Canto of Tewksbury, MA and Ellen Tennant of Indiana. and many more.
Visitation will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
