Lury Pizarro, 33, of Brooklyn, CT, formerly of Worcester, passed away on February 14th at home with her son, Emmanuel Pizarro. She is survived by her mother, Maria Algarin; her brother, Robert Pizarro; her sister, Rebecca Algarin; her grandmother, Milagros Monge, all of Worcester; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by her father, Roberto Pizarro.
She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and worked as a system manager for a transportation company for a few years. Lury was a kind, selfless, and generous person who was always helping others and touched the lives of many. Lury was a beautiful soul and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her son. Her dream was becoming a mother and she was blessed with Emmanuel.
Emmanuel Pizarro, 3, of Brooklyn, CT, formerly of Worcester, passed away on February 14th at home with his mother, Lury Pizarro. He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Maria Algarin; step-grandfather, Daniel Mendez both of Worcester; his cousins, Joshua, Gabriel, Zayn, Janiyah, Julianna, Aleishaliz, Aleah, Kayleesia, Josiah, and Arlin; and many aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Roberto Pizarro.
He was born in Boston the son of the late Jose Alberto Perez and Lury Pizarro. Emmanuel was a smart, loving, caring, playful 3-year-old. He loved playing and spending time with his cousins and was always close by his mother, Lury. They both were very loved and will be missed
Their funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 7:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME 592 Park Avenue. Their calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd from 6:00 PM until the start of the service in the funeral home. Burial will take place on Thursday, February 23rd in All Faith’s Cemetery, 9 Island Road with a procession leaving at 10:00 AM from the funeral home.
