Dumond Jean (82) of Brockton died February 13th at home under hospice care surrounded by his family.
He was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti son of the late Dume Jean and Georgine Jean. Dumond was a farmer in his home country of Haiti and enjoyed playing dominoes, cards, dancing and socializing with family and friends.
Dumond is survived by his son Richmond Jean of Haiti, 10 daughters, Ismone Jean of Brockton, Duna, Beretrice, Marie, Anne, Roslansde, Danise, Dunise, Alexandre and Katrina Jean all of Haiti, a brother Daniel Jean of Canada, 2 sisters, Andrune and Premize Jean both of Haiti, 17 grandchildren, his goddaughter Silette Cherilus, his ex son in law Hancy Pierre, also many relatives and friends.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday March 2nd from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services in the Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant Street Brockton Friday March 3rd at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing in the Church from 9 am prior to services.
