Gary W. Shell, 81, of Derry, NH, passed away Thursday February 16, 2023 in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry, NH. He was born on March 21, 1941 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a son of the late William Shell and Elsie (Morris) Gordon. Gary worked in the Facilities Maintenance department for the Town of Londonderry for many years.
He is survived by four sons, Wayne M. Shell, Scott W. Shell, Mark A. Shell and Jason A. Shell; one daughter, Kelly A. Merchant, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one sister, Judy Collins, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Shell and longtime companion of 35 years, Judith Lecaroz in 2019.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will begin at 8pm in the funeral home.
