WORCESTER-Helen O. (Glasser) Tauper, 87, of Worcester died Sat., June 3.
Her husband of 58 years, Paul E. Tauper died in 1998. She leaves a daughter, Janis Ann Pella of Worcester; two sisters, Evelyn I. Foskett of Chino Hills, CA and Pauline D. Corbeil of N. Brookfield; three grandsons, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her close friend Wanda L. Lipinski died in March 2005.
She was born in Spencer the daughter of James and Delia M. (Laurie) Glasser. Helen was a bookkeeper for A&P Co. for 15 years retiring in 1972. She was a founding member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church.
The funeral will be Wednesday, June 7 from the Lindquist Lundin Funeral Home, 36 Butler St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 AM the morning of the funeral.
