Carol E. (Foreman) St. Cyr, 81, a longtime Lowell resident, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, after a brief illness at Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus.
A daughter of the late Francis Foreman and the late Frances (Willis) Foreman, she was born May 28, 1941, in Boston and was raised and educated in the Tewksbury school system. After High School, she earned her hairdressing certificate and her nursing assistant certification. She then began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years, mostly at Town and Country Nursing Home in Lowell. She retired after many years of service.
Carol, or "Sis" and "Cookie" as she was affectionately known, was an incredible woman. She loved movies, snacking and watching television, especially soap operas. She also enjoyed going to Market Basket and reading the National Enquirer. Among her many qualities, selflessness will be her enduring legacy. Left behind in the hearts of her children it is fitting that she passed away on Valentines Day after living a life filled with love. Caring for others was what she dedicated her life to, whether it be her own family or one of her countless patients over the years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her four children, Stephen M. Sullivan of Lowell, Kevin R. Neveux and his wife, Katherine, of Manchester, NH, Daniel F. St. Cyr of Lowell, Susan St. Cyr and her partner Allison Botto of Nashua, NH, her grandchildren, Brian, Laura, Alex, Jean and Brooke Neveux and Daniel Alan St. Cyr. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Christopher Neveux, Willow Sage, Hazel Wakefield, Jaxson Johnson, Abella Neveux, Ethan Neveux and Sophie King Lord, and her sisters, Mary Mullen of Pelham, NH and Linda Roberts of Maine.
She was predeceased by her brother the late William "Butch" Foreman and her husband, the late William St. Cyr.
