George Alachoyan, III, 41, of Worcester died Saturday, January 28th at home. He leaves his two beautiful children, Amy Beth Alachoyan, and George Alachoyan, IV; their mother and his high school sweetheart, Jennifer Robinson; his brother, Thomas Alachoyan; his sister, Danielle Alachoyan; his niece, Shailynn Bradwell; and his father, George Alachoyan, Jr.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Doreen M. Kaminski and graduated from South High School. George worked for Young’s Garage where he loved to turn wrenches as a mechanic with one of his best friends and previously worked for W. C. Cranston & Son where he worked as a tow truck driver. He was known to be a jack of all trades and master of none. He worked for CSX on the railroad for a number of years, and took pride in being knowns as a “Railroad working man.”
George was a great father and loved his children very much. He had a love for music, art, writing poetry, and nature. George was the winner of an art scholarship for his drawings while at Worcester Central Catholic Elementary School. In an attempt to pursue his love for music, George interviewed for “The Voice.” His personalities were larger than life at times, he could make anyone laugh and gave the most comforting bear hugs that will be missed greatly by all!
George was a spiritual man who was loved by his peers and will be deeply missed by many.
His funeral is Saturday, February 25th with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street.
