Raymond Joseph Magliozzi, age 64, of Malden passed away on Tuesday, February 14, after a courageous battle with cancer. A Malden resident since the age of eight, Raymond was the son of the late Raymond S. and Celia (Loconzolo) Magliozzi.
Raymond was the longtime owner and president of Riverside Sheet Metal and Contracting in Medford.
Raymond was the beloved husband of 40 years to Janet (Jackson) Magliozzi. He was the loving son-in-law of Dean and Cathie (Lombardo) Jackson, and the dear brother-in-law of Lori Traylor and her husband Ken, and Dean Jackson, Jr. and his wife Julie. Raymond was the cherished uncle and Godfather of Emma Ann Jackson, and is survived by his Godsons, Vance Kaminski and Micheal Loconzolo. Raymond is also survived by nieces and nephews Joseph, Justin, Alek, Anthony, Dominic, George, Sofia, Taylor, and Nicole, and cousins Bill Loconzolo and his wife Michele, Jennifer DiBari and her husband Jerome, Michael Loconzolo and his wife Maureen, and the late William U.B. Loconzolo, as well as many more friends, relatives and colleagues.
A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, February 20th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Sunday, February 19th from 3 through 7 PM. Interment will be private.
