Richard M. Rego, 84, of Brockton, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at The Guardian Center. He was the son of the late Joseph M. and Georgianna (Oliveira) Rego.
Mr. Rego was born in Fall River and had resided there until relocating to Brockton. He served his country in the U.S. Army and prior to retirement, had worked as a truck driver. He was a very neat person and wanted everything to be in its place. He enjoyed playing slots at the casino and will be remembered as a jokester.
Survivors include his 2 sons: Russell Rego of Fall River and Tony Rego of Westport; 2 step-children: Donna Fortin of Las Vegas, NV and David Fortin of Dartmouth; along with grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Georgianna Souza, Arthur Rego, Joseph Rego, David Rego, Elzira Braga, Mabel Julius and Manuel Rego.
