Myrna Rivera, 77, of Worcester, MA, sadly passed away on February 10th, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Myrna was the second of ten children of Rafael and Carmen Rivera; she was born on November 10th, 1945, in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, going on to New York, NY, in 1952 and then settling in Worcester, MA, in 1996.
Myrna led and loved her life through her family. Her family will remember her as the beloved matriarch who built and maintained her family with her passionate and generous heart.
Myrna is survived by her three children, Abe (Mary) Pagan, Migdalia (Joel) Rodriguez, and Jeanette (Aristides) Rodriguez; step-child Ivette Vazquez; six grandchildren, Debra Crespo, Abraham (Heather) Pagan, Josh Pagan, Sean (Brittany) Rodriguez, Shari (Anthony) Rodriguez, Brandon (Jenna) Rodriguez; adopted granddaughters, Danielle Turner, Nicole Turner, and her dearly beloved great-grandchildren, Elyssa D'Ambra, Evan D'Ambra, Vincent D'Ambra, Jaidev Giumentaro, Ariela Rodriguez, and Isaac Pagan. As well as her siblings Betty Rivera, Migdalia Rivera Bermudez, Maritza Rivera, Sylvia Rivera, Berenice Rivera, and their families.
Myrna is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Carmen Diana Bolduc, Wilfrido Rivera, Beatrice Rivera, and Antonio Rivera; step-children, Frankie Vazquez and Vivian Vazquez and adopted grandson, Nathan Otero.
Myrna Rivera’s loved ones will hold an intimate and private celebration of life. In place of donations or flowers, those who wish to honor Myrna are urged by her family to share a meal with their loved ones and enjoy an impassioned game of dominos.
