Roger “Dale” Wright, 76, of Enigma passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Wright at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Fletcher Cemetery in Alapaha. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born August 30, 1946, in Haleyville, Alabama, Mr. Wright was the son of the late Cecil Wright and Mary Cummings Wright. Before retiring in 1993, he was a farmer and he was a member of Brightstar Tabernacle in Michigan.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Mandy Susan Franklin Wright of Enigma; one son, Roger David Wright of Enigma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brandy Gail and Christopher Hunt of Enigma and Julie Diane and Robert Wright of Michigan; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Max and Margaret Wright and Rex Wright, all of Brilliant, Alabama; a sister-in-law, Linda Franklin of Alabama; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Donald and Joyce Franklin and Carl and Bobby Morrison, all of Enigma; and four grandchildren, Rori Wright, Kaitlyn Hunt, Kelsie Hunt and Julian Wright.
