Frank “Frankie” A. Lumbra, (named after his father Francis) ,52, of Bow, NH, passed away Thursday February 9, 2023 in his home. He was born on May 10, 1970 in St. Albans, Vermont. He grew up in Montgomery, VT with two brothers and two sisters and was a loving father of five children and seven grandchildren. Frank had been a resident of Bow, NH for the past three years, formerly living in Derry, NH. He is Survived by his wife Karen (Barton) Lumbra, his father Francis (Sonny), mother Louis (Corse) Lumbra, and extended family.
Frank was an incredible chef, professionally and in the home kitchen - food was his expression of his love. He found a way into people’s hearts through any dish he created. A true New-Englander, you could find him passionately watching the Patriots any game day, and he always idolized the iconic Dale Earnhardt on the racetrack. He was selfless, compassionate, and wore his heart on his sleeve.
Despite his tough outer-layer, Frank was the definition of a charmer - a magnet for making friends. His gift of the gab earned him friends around any corner, bar, or country he set foot in, literally. He loved to entertain, wherever he was. His friends and family were the light of his life and never taken for granted. Anyone that benefited from being in his presence were welcomed by his open arms, benevolent smile, unconditional love, and felt at home. He had the most contagious laugh, which will echo in our hearts forever.
He would want us all to remember him not with sadness but rather for his strength, his sense of humor, laughter, and love that he bought to everyone.
In the famous last words of his favorite show, Looney Tunes – “That’s all folks”
