Worcester – Lorraine (Hope) Annesty, 87, of Worcester, passed away peacefully in the Knollwood Nursing Center on Sunday, February 5, 2023 after an illness.
Lorraine was married to the late, Robert Annesty and is survived by a son, Juhn Turnan of Auburn and a daughter, Nancy Beauregard of Oxford. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Annesty was born in Worcester, daughter of the late William J. and Mary F. (Shea) Hope and is also predeceased by three sons, Robert Turnan, Richard Turnan and Patrick Nagle as well as five brothers and sisters.
Lorraine worked for over 20 years at University of Massachusetts Medical School as a secretary in the fiscal affairs office. She would often be found listening to music and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with animals, especially her beloved cats and dogs.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14 at 11:30 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park 217 Richards Ave. Paxton. Memorial Contributions may be made to MSPCA – Angell 350 South Huntington Avenue Boston, MA 02130.
