Patricia Ann (Meskell) Cummings, 82, of Belmont, passed away peacefully after a long illness at Bayberry on Saturday, February 4, 2023. She was the widow of the late Clyde Dickie.
Patricia was born in Somerville on July 19, 1940. She was raised and educated in that area and was a graduate of Matignon High School in Cambridge. She then went on to attend secretarial school. She then worked as a secretary for most of her career with Arthur D. Little before her recent retirement.
She was active in the Belmont and Arlington Senior Centers for many years. She loved traveling, playing cards, taking long walks, and spending time with her dog. More than anything though, family was her world. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her most precious moments.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Barbato and her husband, Edward of Tewksbury; her 5 grandchildren, Brian Barbato and his wife, Sarah of Hudson, NH, Katie Gonzalez and her husband, Castulo of Wakefield, Jeffrey Roy and his wife, Karyn of Peabody, Jaqualine Singer and her husband, Joseph of Peabody, David Barbato and his wife, Carolyn of Hudson, NH; and her 8 great grandchildren, Cameron, Ellie, Leo, Maddie, Mason, Nathan, Jared and Luna. She is also survived by her brother, John Meskell of Concord.
Additionally she was predeceased by her son, the late John Francis Cummings and her daughter, the late Kathleen Roy Cummings.

On Thursday, February 9, 2023, all are welcome to attend her visitation from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA.
