Durinvil Faverdieu, 93 died February 2, 2023 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born in Cayes, Haiti on October 7, 1929 the son of Vergeluce and Ellen (Museau) Faverdieu.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lorca (Ochime) Faverdieu.
Family members include two sons, Antoine Faverdieu and his wife, Ginia, Jean Faverdieu and his wife, Gertha Cornet, two daughters; Marie Jeanne (Faverdieu) Maurice, Marie Francoise (Faverdieu) Morin, seventeen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A calling hour will also be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am immediately followed by a funeral service at 9:30 am. Both will take place in the First Haitian Baptist Church, 439 Merrimack St., Manchester.
Committal prayers will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech St.
