O’Dea, Michael Patrick, 38, a lifelong resident of West Roxbury and recently a resident of Sandwich passed away unexpectedly February 3, 2023. Loving son of Kathleen M. (Ahearn) and the late Richard M. O’Dea. Devoted brother of Megan Marchese and her husband Andrew of Holliston. Cherished uncle of Evelyn and Vivian Marchese. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends both in the U.S. and Ireland. Michael was an exceptional and compassionate caregiver to his late father. He was an apprentice plumber. He was also a very talented artist and could draw anything you asked him to. Anyone that knew Michael knew he was an avid Boston sports fan, he especially enjoyed watching the Boston Bruins. He had such a great sense of humor and could have you laughing in a minute. If you wanted to know about history, he was your guy. He was very knowledgeable and shared this passion with his mom.
Friends and relatives are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St, West Roxbury on Saturday, February 18th from 3-5 p.m. concluding with funeral home prayer service.
