Obituary

Robert “Bob” J. Sullivan, Jr., age 60, of Billerica, passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Sunday, January 29, 2023.

Bob was born in Medford, MA on June 12, 1962 to Robert Sullivan and Joan (Antonelli) Sullivan. He was raised in Billerica and graduated from Billerica Memorial High School in 1980. Simultaneously, he also graduated with a degree from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School’s Culinary Program. He is a graduate of Essex Agricultural School in Danvers, where he earned a certification in culinary arts.

Bob took great pride in his profession as a chef. His career began at Thackery’s, continuing with Sedexo Marriot, Westford Regency, Radisson Hotel, Entegris Corporate Kitchen and Bradford Lantern Cafe.

As an avid music lover, Bob’s interests were diverse and he especially loved The Rolling Stones. He enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, and immersing himself in his books. One of his favorites since childhood, was The Hobbit which was the prequel to the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Bob had a good soul and a great sense of humor. Everybody LOVED Bob.
He will be greatly missed by those who will always love him.

He is survived by his devoted mother Joan (Antonelli)(Sullivan)Toscano and Joseph Kitson, his father Dionisio “Dennis” Toscano, his sons Robert Sullivan, Jeremy Sullivan and Jocelyn, and their mother Jane Sullivan, his daughters Jessica Sullivan, Kaitlyn Sullivan and their mother Laurie Sullivan, his brother Dario Toscano and Jessica Bradley, his sisters Paula (Sullivan) Ericsson and Rocky, Deana Toscano, his niece Aria Toscano, and his favorite uncle Joseph Antonelli.

A graveside service to be held on Thursday February 9th at 1:00pm at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Road, Billerica, MA
