Gladys A. (Arsenault) Errico, age 89, of Winchester, passed away on February 4, 2023, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard R. Errico, Sr.
Born in Chelsea, Gladys was the daughter of the late Theodore and Ethel (LeClaire) Arsenault. She was raised and educated in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School.
A resident of Winchester for over 60 years, Gladys worked for many years in the Winchester Public School system as a school monitor, mostly at Lincoln School. She was always a loving presence for the children, keeping them safe and in order during the school day.
Gladys is lovingly survived by her children: Kenneth A. Errico, Sr. and his wife Jane of Stoneham, Gary J. Errico and his wife Patricia of CO, Cheryl O’Brien and her husband Tim of Winchester, Paul F. Errico and his wife Beth of Winchester and the late Richard R. “Dicky” Errico, Jr. and his surviving wife Melissa of Peabody. She was also the beloved grandmother of Kenneth Errico, Jr., Kimberly Twarjan, Richard Errico III, Rachel Motta, Ashley O’Brien and Tim O’Brien, Jr., Jake and Jordan Errico, the dear sister of Bernard Arsenault and his wife Ruth of NH and the late Terry Smith, Grace Capone and Aldona DeMarco. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester on Thursday, February 9, 2023, beginning at 10AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, at 12 noon.
