Clark, Christopher Nutting of Cohasset and Hingham. February 3, 2023. Son of the late Robert Brewster Clark and step-mother Betsy Clark van Orman. Brother of Betsy Clark Fisher, Joshua Clark and Howard Clark. Brother-in-law to Bennett Fisher and uncle of Avery Brewster Fisher, Luke Clark Fisher and Robert (Robby) Alexander Fisher.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Chris was the first (in four centuries) eldest son in his family line not to be born in Brewster, MA. But he loved Brewster, and just walking to the beach nearby could take all day because of all the friends he’d visit along the way, who often didn’t want him to leave. He never had a bad word to say, but simply brought joy and laughs to those around him. And when it came to the weather and sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots, his knowledge was unrivaled.
Chris lived in Hingham and Cohasset. He worked until his retirement in the state house mail room in Boston.
A private graveside service will be held this summer in Brewster, MA.
