Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (St. Colman Church)at 10 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 pm.
Obituary
Carol M. Fuchs died Thursday at her home of pancreatic cancer while under hospice care. She was born in Newton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Trudeau) Bergen. Raised and educated in Braintree, a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth Class of 1963 and also attended Bridgewater State College. After raising her children she earned her Associate Degree with high honors from Massasoit Community College. Prior to her illness she worked in the office of Dr. Eli Factor, DMD in Brockton and had previously worked locally as a dental technician. Her passion was her family, gardening, art and making everything around her beautiful. She was a communicant of St. Colman Church.
Survived by her husband of 41 years Peter E. Fuchs, three daughters, Debra A. Fuchs-Ertman, MD and her husband Jeffrey Ertman of Scarborough, ME; Laurie M. Delano and her husband Peter of Weymouth and Carolyn J. Fuchs-Aviezer and her husband Tal Aviezer of Dobbs Ferry, NY., four grandchildren, Melissa, Justin, Amanda and Ryan, one sister Mary A. Brack of Bridgewater and a brother, Edward Bergen of Brockton.
