WORCESTER____Barbara S. (Wallace) Niedzialkoski, 97, formerly of Worcester passed away Tuesday January 31, 2023 in Matulaitis Nursing Home, Putnam, Ct. Her husband of 56 years, Andrew Niedzialkoski died in 2001.
She leaves her children, James Niedzialkoski and his wife, Tina, Jean Belliveau and Kathleen Watts and her husband, Paul, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Reynolds and a sister Virginia Oldakowski. Barbara was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late John Wallace and Mary E. (Kwederis) Wallace LeDuc and was also predeceased by her step father, William LeDuc. Barbara was educated in Worcester schools and lived in Worcester for most of her life.
Mrs. Niedzialkoski was a member of Sacred Heart – St. Catherine of Sweden parish. She loved gardening and was an avid crocheter. Barbara also enjoyed camping, fishing and crafts.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at Sacred Heart – St. Catherine of Sweden Parish, 600 Cambridge Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home before the funeral Mass.
