Robert F. Gallant, of Medford, February 1st. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Ballantine) Gallant. Father of Patty Lyman and her husband Christopher of Wilmington, Robert Gallant and Cindy Crawford of North Reading and the late Anne Manning and Richard Gallant. Father-in-law of Shawn Manning of Hudson, NH and Virginia Gallant of Chelmsford. Grandfather of Catherine, Alessandra and her husband Ukwen, Jacqueline and her husband Tim, Kristina and her husband Jay, Heather and her husband Matt, Philip and his wife Maria, Matthew and Rebecca. Great grandfather of Evia, Miya, Bella and Benjamin. Brother of Charles Gallant of Lynn and the late Abel, John, Ernest, Lloyd, Elmo and Leonard Gallant and Eileen Correia. Robert was born and raised in Chelsea. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. For many years, he worked as an accountant for Citizens Bank. He has been a member of the Knights of Columbus in Saugus for several years. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Tuesday February 7th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday February 6th from 5-7 PM.
