Victor C. Trischitta, Sr, age 82, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 30, 2023. He was the loving husband of the late Shelby (McCluskey) Trischitta who passed away eleven months prior.
Born in Malden and raised in Randolph, he was the son of the late Victor C. and Phyllis (Aborn) Triss.
He served his country proudly in the United States Navy.
Vic resided in Brockton for the past sixty years where he and his wife raised their family. He was a graduate of Randolph High School and attended Massasoit Community College.
Victor worked as an optical engineer at Micro E-Systems in Billerica for many years before retiring in 2009.
Mr. Trischitta loved fishing, especially freshwater fishing at Horseshoe Pond in Maine, hunting in Massachusetts, and most of all he loved his family deeply.
He leaves his eight children, Stephanie Pechilis, of Taunton, Vicki Pesa, of Brockton, Katrina Trischitta, of Brockton, Cheryl Swan, of Taunton, Victor Trischitta, Jr.and his wife Darlene, of Starke, FL, Lindsey Trischitta, of Brockton, Anthony Trischitta, of Brockton, and Dominic Trischitta, of Brockton; a sister, Dana M. Grant; sixteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Vic was the twin brother of the late Valerie Adams and Richard F. Trischitta.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Victor’s family on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 12:00 to 3:00 pm, at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 10:45am, for a funeral service at 11:15 am, in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, at 1:30 pm.
