Daniel S. Walters passed away on January 25th, 2023 at the age of 70. He was born in Chincoteague, VA on December 7, 1952 but considered Worcester, MA home. Dan was a dedicated employee of Kadant Solutions in Auburn, MA as a machinist for almost 40 years prior to his retirement. He was a dedicated father and well known for his involvement coaching softball and attending their extracurricular activities. He loved fast cars, especially the classic muscle cars, attending and working Summer Nationals. Dan was a huge fan of all New England Sports. You would swear he had a megaphone when the Patriots missed a play because you could hear him yelling a mile away.
He is survived by many family members who will dearly miss him, including his longtime companion, Judith Walters; three children, Andrew Walters of Herborn, Germany, Daniel Walters Jr. (Amy Krauser) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Jennie Walters of Johnson City, TN; 5 Siblings; Richard Walters (Jacqueline) of Millbury, MA. Donna Griffith (Buddy) of Chattanooga, TN, Marie Morin (Ronald, deceased) of Lakeland, FL, David Walters (Linda) of Alabama; and 2 grandchildren Leon-James and Arianna and his estranged spouse Deborah Walters. He is survived by many nieces and nephews that held a special place in his heart.
Dan wishes were to be cremated and no formal service, but the family asks that all who knew and loved him, raise a Budweiser and remember a fond memory.
