Vasillaq Stoja, 58, of Worcester died Monday, January 30th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after a period of declining health. He leaves his wife of 31 years, Elida (Pronjari) Stoja; and three daughters, Izabela Stoja of Escondido, CA, Doriela Stoja and Kristina Stoja both of Worcester. He also leaves several brothers and sisters, including his twin sister, Eriketa. He was predeceased by a brother, Vladimir.
He was born in Korce, Albania the son of Matthew and Stavrulla (Pancollari) Stoja and immigrated to the United States in 1996. Mr. Stoja worked for Dimitria Delights for the past 15 years. He attended services at St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church. Vasillaq enjoyed fishing and had a great sense of humor, he could always be found joking with his friends.
His visitation is Thursday, February 2nd from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by a graveside service in Hope Cemetery.
