Judith M. "Judie" (Connors) Bowman, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at her home in Charlestown. She was 60 years of age.
Judie was born in Boston on November 2, 1962, a daughter of Mary M. (Hennigan) Connors and the late Charles Connors. She grew up in Charlestown and was educated at St. Benedicts Parochial School (Little Flower) in Somerville and graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in Boston in 1982. Judie worked for many years as a Medical Assistant for Harvard VanGuard Health. In her spare time, Judie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and traveling to Disney World in Florida. Family was paramount in Judie's life and she cherished all the quality moments she spent with her 2 children and extended family.
Judie is the devoted mother of Michael Bowman, Samantha Bowman and the late Stephen Middlekauff. She is the loving daughter of Mary M. (Hennigan) Connors and the late Charles Connors. She is the beloved sister of Charles Connors, Thomas Connors and his wife Karen, Catherine Connors and Craig Connors and his fiance Jennifer Serino. She is also survived by her loving nieces and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Judie's visiting hours on Friday morning, February 3, 2023 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 12 Noon. Her burial will be private.
