Norma Ewing, 87, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Legacy Village in Tifton, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Whitley Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. Anthony Gandy officiating. The family will greet friends following the graveside at the cemetery.
Ms. Ewing was born May 19, 1935, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Waldo Henderson & Mary Grace Piper Ewing. She was a homemaker and had lived in Tifton for the past 10 years. She faced many challenges, but she always loved her family and her Jesus.
She is survived by her daughter: Heather & Anthony Gandy of Warrenville, Illinois; a granddaughter, Brooke & Jake Kirhoffer; and two sisters: Elizabeth “Dib” Sims of Ocilla and Kay Smith of Madison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Billy Ewing and Edgar Malone “Gator” Ewing.
