Marie Ann Martin, a long time resident of Boston, passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2023.
Born in Jamaica Plain, one of four children, to the late Edward and Barbara Carpentier. Marie was an avid wrestling fan, and a "professional" Bingo player. She enjoyed the art of crocheting and often made blankets for her ever growing family, a devoted mother and grandmother, as family was very important to her.

Dear Sister of Janet Carpentier, Joan & Tony of Arizona and the late Edward (Eddie) Carpentier.
Sister in-law to Mary Martin & Carol Levine. She was the companion of the late Richard Lloyd whom she loved dearly.
Loving Mother to Rosemarie Martin, Lori & her husband Anthony Martin and Jessica & Jose Valladares.
Lisa Martin , Kelley and her husband, Lawson Wagner , Frederick Martin III of Brockton, Mark Davis, Joey Davis , Sean, Davis, and late Christopher Davis.
She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren :Amanda, Angela, Melissa, Lawson JR., Gianna, Ahrianna, Christopher, Michael, Dylan, Isabella, Markus, Mikayla, Jordan, Julian, Olivia and Jaylen. Marie is also survived by many nieces,nephews,friends and loved ones and will be missed by all.
Visiting hours will be held at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marie's name to Joslin Diabetes.
