Obituary

Kellie Burke Cronin, 55

Dateline: Foxborough, MA

Kellie Burke Cronin, age 55, of Foxborough, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Gerald A. “Gerry” Cronin, to whom she shared thirty-two beautiful years of friendship and marriage.

Born in Boston, MA on February 23, 1967, she was a loving daughter of the late Arthur E. Burke and Marge (Molway) Saunders.

Kellie spent her early childhood living in the Readville neighborhood of Boston. Her family later moved to Mansfield, where she graduated from Mansfield High School. She had made her home in Foxborough for over twenty years.

For the past thirty-one years, Kellie worked for Delta Projects helping the mentally impaired. Kellie’s compassionate caring nature resulted in her clients developing a strong bond with her. She very-much improved the lives of those in her care when their own families were unable to care for them.

Kellie was loved deeply by her family and friends, who all feel a tremendous sense of loss from her passing, which will result in a lifetime void in their lives. The memories Kellie created will shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her forever.

Kellie’s hobbies included keeping up with friends on Facebook, birdwatching and peaceful times spent by the ocean. She always maintained a special love in her heart for animals, especially her late dog “Buddie”.

In addition to her beloved husband Gerry, she is survived by her devoted brother Paul J. Burke and his wife Susan of Mansfield and was pre-deceased by her brothers John R. Burke, who is survived by his wife Donna and Ronald E. Burke, who is survived by his wife Janice. She was the treasured aunt of Danielle Burke of Foxborough, Kristin Burns and her husband Ryan of Wrentham, AJ Sawaya of Foxborough, Jason Burke of Mansfield, Brandon Burke and his wife Georgia of Maynard, Nicholas Burke of Mansfield, Keith Burke and his wife Kerri of Canton and Eric Burke and his wife Tina of Plymouth.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, February 3rd from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 4th at a 9 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street, Mansfield. Burial will be private.
