Martha L. Salvucci, 93, of Franklin died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 22, 2023. She was the wife of the late Phillip Salvucci, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage.
She was born in Boston on July 4, 1929, daughter of the late Donald and Iva (Longfellow) Farnham. After living in Allston through her childhood and first 15 years of marriage, she became a longtime resident of Franklin, then Plymouth and returned to Franklin in 2016.
Martha’s life as a devoted wife and mother, and later grandmother and great grandmother, was filled with joy and happiness. She volunteered her time at the Ben Franklin Nursing Home and for Meals on Wheels and FISH.
Martha is survived by her children, Phillip Salvucci, Dennis Salvucci and his wife Donna, Susan Rojee and her husband Fred, and Richard Salvucci and his wife Joanne; sisters-in-law Mary Salvucci and Sandra DiBiasi; and 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Eleanor Rock, Marjorie Seale, Dorothy Farnham, Ralph Farnham, Richard Farnham, Russell Farnham and June Hemstedt; and sister-in-law of the late Carmin Salvucci, Robert Salvucci and James DiBiasi.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Thursday, January 26th, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Franklin. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
