Thomas A. Analetto, a longtime Medford resident passed away on Thursday, January 19 th 2023 at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of Marylouise Analetto. Thomas was one of five children of the late Antonio and Beatrice (Sutera) Analetto.
Tom was raised in Somerville and Medford and attended Northeastern University. He served in the United States Navy, Construction Battalion–Seabees. After serving his country, Tom founded, with his siblings, Analetto Brothers Inc. It was a construction company that contracted general work and was also the exclusive contractor of Container Corporation of America (Medford Plant). They also built a car wash and service station in Medford which is still under operation. Tom successfully ventured into the real estate profession which he enjoyed until the present.
Tom was very dedicated to his family. He married Marylouise Garland in 1959 and had four children. His children and grandchildren meant everything to him. He cherished his relationships with relatives and friends and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
His giving nature was demonstrated by his membership in Kiwanis Club of Medford for over 50 years, and as member of Project Triangle in Malden for several years, and participated in the “Friday Night” Program for disabled adults. His passion was to serve his community.
Tom was the beloved husband of the late Marylouise (Garland) Analetto. He was the devoted father of Thomas A. Analetto DMD., and his wife Joanie, the late Dierdre, Sherry and Jill Analetto. He was the loving Papa of Joseph DeSimone, Thomas Leo Analetto, and Grace Analetto. He was the dear brother of Rosemary O’Neil, the late Leonard, Anthony and Joseph Analetto. Tom is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Thomas’ family at St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Wednesday, January 25th, from 9 to 11 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated at 11 AM. Services will conclude with military honors and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
