Edna Mae Reeves, 89, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Palemon Gaskins Memorial Nursing Home in Ocilla, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2023, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Reeves was born April 13, 1933, in North Reading, Massachusetts, to the late Hugo Horace & Helen Josephine Marchetti. She worked in the lunchroom at Ashton School and also worked in several factories in Fitzgerald. She enjoyed camping, shopping, and riding motorcycles with her husband. She was an avid gardener and loved working in her flower beds.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Junior & Brenda Reeves, Dianne & Danny Woods, and Eddy & Miriam Reeves, all of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Melinda & Max Immelman, Dan Reeves, and Ross & Anna Joy Reeves; step-grandson, Britton Robitzsch; great-grandchildren: Isabella Immelman, Olivia Immelman, Hallie Kate Reeves, and Lindy Mae Reeves; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hulin L. Reeves, Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Joy Reeves; three brothers and two sisters.
