It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Ellenor Grace Schloss on January 17th 2023. Ellenor was born on December 2, 1943 in Lamar, CO; the sixth child of nine in the Clark family. The family moved to Washington state in 1948. Ellenor received her education in Grandview and lived there for many years.
Ellenor loved the ocean & mountains. She was an avid Seahawks fan. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles & word search.
Ellenor resided in Prosser, Wa at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer E Clark and Velma (Idler) Clark, brothers Clyde D Clark and Wilber J Clark, four nephews and one niece.
Ellenor is survived by sons Gaylynn Schloss (Guillermina), Gary L Schloss (Sherrie), Tony R Schloss (Christine), Chad Schloss (Luisa), 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 5 sisters, one brother, 13 nephews and 10 nieces and many great nieces and nephews. Ellenor worked for James River Corporation and for Treetop. She was raised in a family with deep faith. She had an independent spirit. She believed God would always provide for her as she trusted in Him. Any time she stumbled in life, the Lord was there to pick her up. Her hope was in the Lord and his promise of eternal life.
All of her family and friends will miss her.
There will be celebration of life with a potluck dinner at the Grandview Community Church of God on Feb 4th at 1:00 PM.
