LEICESTER/WARWICK, RI: Christine M. Harris, 64, of Warwick and formerly of Leicester, died unexpectedly at her home on Jan. 14th.
She was the daughter of Mary E. (Weir) Harris of Port Charlotte, Fl., and the late Joseph Harris, Sr. who died in 1993. She leaves her brothers; Joseph A. Harris, Jr. and his wife Robin of Rutland and Mark Owens and his wife Tami of Placerville, Calif., several aunts, nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester and later graduated from Leicester High School and Anna Maria College in Paxton.
Christine worked at the Shrewsbury Processing and Distribution Plant of the U.S. Postal Service before her retirement in 2016.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28th. at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, E.Brookfield, MA 01515. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is assisting the family with arrangements.
