WORCESTER: Janet E. (McInnis) Albrecht,92, of 340 May St., died Monday, Jan. 16th. at her home. Her husband of 42 years, Clifford C. Albrecht died in 2016. He was the love of her life and soulmate. She is happy to be reuniting with him and joining him for their 5 o’clock cocktails.
She leaves her daughters; Cynthia J. Hunt and her husband Albin of W.Boylston and Gail E. Ball of Worcester, her brother; Robert McInnis and his wife Abigail of Cape Cod, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her daughter; Linda Harris, her son; Steven Albrecht, and grandson; Jonathan Ball.
Janet was a clerk for more than 20 years for the Holden Water Dept before she retired to Clearwater Beach, Florida. She had many happy years down there with friends and family. She enjoyed the beach and her view of the intercoastal watching dolphins pass by. She remained a member of the First Congregational Church of Leicester.
Born in Holden, she was the daughter of Wallace and Elizabeth (Kelton) McInnis and later graduated from Holden High School.
Funeral services for Janet will be held on Monday, Jan. 23 at 11a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
