Neil Wycoff Adams, 73, of Camarillo, CA, went to the Field of Dreams on Saturday, January 14th. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sue, of 54 years, and their four beloved cats, Hank “Henri” Aaron, Pee-Wee Reese, Jackie Robinson, and Roxy Campanella.
Neil Adams was born and raised in Los Angeles. He attended Fairfax High School and Valley College. He served in the Navy on the USS Ashtabula in the 1960’s.
Neil had worked for Ralphs Market as a store manager in his early years. After that, he and Sue started their own auto stereo and body shop business. But by far his favorite was working the swap meet with Sue.
Neil was a Dodger fan his whole life, but his love of the Dodgers grew after his first Dodger Fantasy Camp in 1984. By the early 1990s, he became commissioner of Dodger Town West. Through these camps, he met many lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95817
