A. Marilyn (Iervolino) Herman, age 78, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Plympton, died on January 9, 2023 at ShorePoint Hospital. Marilyn was the loving wife for 58 years of Albert Herman, Jr. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Arleene (Pelkey) Iervolino.
Marilyn was a graduate of Brockton High School and for 39 years was an employee of Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital, retiring in 2009. Marilyn was a loving and caring person who was devoted to raising her family. Spending time with her friends was also important to her. Marilyn was a member of the Red Hat Society and Crafty Girls Club and also enjoyed bingo, reading, traveling and bunco.
In addition to her husband Albert, she is survived by her daughter Elaine Herman of Port Charlotte, FL; her grandchildren Ashley Herman and Manda Berggren and her great grandchildren Mea and Lila Berggren and Seamus McFarland. She was the sister of Patricia Kilroy of Homestead, FL.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday, January 22 from 2-6pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Monday, January 23 at 10am, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. The Humane Society and animal shelters were important to her, so please consider a donation in her name to a local animal shelter.
