SANCHEZ - EINCK, Cecily A. of Peoria AZ, formerly of Needham MA and Yarmouth Port MA, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023, with her son Ken and his wife Kristi by her side. She is survived by her three sons, Gene Sanchez III and his wife Maureen and their three children Gene IV “Dru”, Ernie and Evelyn of Doylestown PA; Vincent “Skip” Sanchez and his husband Randy Evans, of Fort Lauderdale FL; and Ken Sanchez and his wife Kristi and their two sons, Keagan and Kyler, of Parker CO.
Cecily was the widow and beloved wife of her first husband and the father of their children, Eugene Sanchez Jr. He passed away of heart disease in 1988. She was also the widow and beloved wife of her second husband Richard Einck, who predeceased her in 2016.
Cecily grew up in Needham, she attended Mt. Saint Alvernia high school and St. Francis Xavier college in Nova Scotia Canada. She was married in Needham and raised her family there. She had a career as an Event Planner (among other roles) at Babson College where she worked for almost 20 years. She retired to Cape Cod in 1999 and Westbrook Village Peoria AZ in 2004 where she enjoyed playing bridge.
When you remember Cecily, remember her love of family, and flowers, especially tulips. Her style and grace will live on in her kids and grandkids forever.
Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham on Saturday, January 21, at 9AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours to follow the Mass in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham from 10AM to 11:30AM followed by interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham. In Lieu of flowers, please consider donating to pulmonaryfibrosis.org
