Ron Daniels, age 77, died on January 12, 2023.
He spent his last days at his beloved Crosswinds home, tended to by his wife, Andrea, his step-son, Doug, some amazing hospice nurses and Tommy the Cat, who gave frequent cat scans. He leaves a large extended family related by birth, and by friendship.
A man of many interests, his life resume included a love of music and theatre, which started as a young child in San Diego, with his twin sister, Donna. He was frequently seen in various bands and local theatre productions in California, New York, and eventually on Cape Cod.
Among the many other jobs he worked at were building ships at the San Diego shipyard, working as an oil rigger in Houston, restoring Victorian homes in Washington, D.C. and building homes on Cape Cod. For the last 13 years, he and Andrea hosted guests from all over the world in their Crosswinds B&B Suites in Eastham.
He had a great curiosity and was well-read about all eras of history.
Best of all, he was that guy standing in a line, or in an elevator, who knew just what to say to put people at ease.
If anyone wishes to do something in his honor, he would wish that they practice good karma, in whatever opportunity it presents itself to help make the world a kinder and better place.
