STANDISH- Carolyn Jean Brown, age 85, passed away on Jan. 10, 2023 at York Hospital.
She was born in Portland on Jan. 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (Glidden) Wheeland.
Carolyn retired as a radio dispatcher with the Maine Dept. of Transportation.
She is predeceased by her husband- Arnold Brown; and her brother- Richard Wheeland.
Carolyn is survived by her sons- Stuart, Ronald and Dwaine; a sister- Dorothy Brown; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday Jan. 19 at 1 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
