WORCESTER____Marek Klama, 58, of Worcester passed away on Monday January 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his children, a son, Marcin Klama and a daughter, Natalia Obert and her husband, Matthew, two grandchildren, Thomas Obert and Vincent Obert; his brothers, Krzysztof Klama and his wife Susan, Jurek Klama and his wife Malgorzata, his sister Elzbieta Przychowski, a step brother Waldek Dobkowski and his wife Danuta; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was born in Lomza, Poland a son of the late Stanislaw and Irena (Wisniewska) Klama and he was also predeceased by a sister Grazyna Klama. He retired as a Firefighter in Poland before moving to Worcester where he lived for many years.
Mr. Klama was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed building things. He loved spending time with his family, dancing to good music and reading a great book. He also enjoyed driving and did so professionally with tractor trailers and limousines while living in Worcester. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
The funeral will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Private burial will be held in Poland. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday, January 13, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
