Irene H. (Lubinski) Hanlon, 98 formerly of Medway died January 10, peacefully at her daughter’s home in Norfolk. She was the wife of the late Jerome A. “Jerry” Hanlon, former Medway Fire Chief, who died in 2015.
Born in Cambridge, April 8,1924, the daughter of the late Fabian and Lottie (Shibley) Lubinski, Irene had been a lifelong Medway resident.
Irene had enjoyed reading and knitting, especially socks for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Holly Davenport and her husband Bob of Norfolk.
She was the mother of the late Jerome E. Hanlon.
Irene is also survived by her grandchildren, John, Brian, Lauren and Anne Marie and her greatgrandchildren, Willow and Finnley.
Her funeral services will be private.
