Richard W. Bellemore, 70, of Chester, NH, passed away Sunday January 8, 2023 in Manchester, NH, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. He was born on February 2, 1952, in East Derry, NH, a son of William and Lillian (Simard) Bellemore. Richard was in the US Airforce as a mechanic during Vietnam, then ran his own business, Dick Bellemore Construction and Excavation for 30 years out of Derry NH. He then retired to enjoy farming and restoring antique cars and tractors in Chester, NH.
He is survived by his loving wife, Regina (Proulx) Bellemore; four sons, Isaac Bellemore, Eric Bellemore and wife Abigail, Richard O. Bellemore and wife Samantha, and William Bellemore; three grandchildren, Lillian, Edward, and Charlie; sister, Nancy Trow and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in Great Hill Cemetery, Rt. 121A, Chester on Saturday, June 17th at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St. Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
