WALTHAM - Myra M. (Hawes) Terruso, 88, of Waltham, formerly of West Bridgewater, died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Newton-Wellsley Hospital in Newton. She was the beloved wife of the late Sebastian Terruso.
Born May 19, 1918, in Stoughton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence & Mary (Murphy) Hawes and was raised in Stoughton.
She lived in West Bridgewater for many years before moving to Waltham 4 years ago.
She worked in the receiving dept. at Tourraine warehouse in Braintree for 10 years.
She was an avid Red Sox fan, & was very proud to be alive for the last 2 World Series Champion Teams (1918, 2004).
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles & talk radio.
She was the loving mother of Pamela Uttaro of Waltham & James Terruso of West Bridgewater. Sister of Barbara Nigro of Methuen. Also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Marianne & James Terruso, & several nieces & nephews.
