Lindon E. Christmas, 57, of Dorchester, died at Boston Medical Center on January 6, 2023 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his father Ernest Christmas, he leaves his loving mother Lucy (Harris) Christmas of Dorchester, his sons Antonio Hines of Dorchester and Savaun Hollis of Brockton, his brother Junior Christmas and his wife Joanne of Roslindale, and his sisters Yvette Carrethers and her husband Robert of Phoenix, AZ, and Joan Edwards, Ingrid Christmas and Sharon Christmas all of Dorchester; granddaughter Khaleesis; and nephews and nieces Jermaine, Kenrick, Camella, Shawn, Shanesha, Jack, James, and Jael. He was the great uncle of Zaniyah, Zoe, Jaxon and Kacey; the nephew of Rudolph Christmus, Gloria Hopkinson, Iona Christmus, Elsie Williams and Wendy Joseph, and special cousin to Diana (Annie) and Lauryn, Cecil, Rudolph, Oliver, Joy, Linton, Loudon and the late Lester. He also leaves his beloved Snowy and many friends.
Lindon was born in Guyana and came to Boston in 1974. He attended West Roxbury High School. He worked for Dimock Health Center, the American Red Cross, and the Social Security Administration. He also worked as a landscaper and volunteered for the Food Bank.
Lindon was a hard worker, kind-hearted and family-oriented. He enjoyed cooking and eating, playing dominoes and basketball, watching detective shows, mysteries and sports, and listening to all kinds of music.
